Snow King Hillclimbs

The Snow King Hillclimbs in Jackson Hole are insane. If you haven’t seen the course, go search for a video! It’s a really fun event that brings out all the fans of snowmobiling. I will be doing a show there this weekend as well, and if you can make it drive over Teton Pass and enjoy. Here is a video from last years show to hold you over until the new one comes out!

Crossing the Pond

The last two weeks have been nothing short of incredible. Being invited to do a demo at Winter X in Europe is like nothing else I can imagine. The logistics involved in getting a sled to Europe, wrapping it, and making it as close to mine as possible are mind blowing. I would really like to thank everyone for making this trip happen in the first place.
25552_10150122672745541_668770540_11436543_3603930_nBringing Linnae along as well made the trip so much more enjoyable. Even though I usually am with friends at these types of events, having someone close to you makes the trip that much more fun. The scenery in Europe is nothing short of breathtaking, and I took plenty of photos for you to see. If you head over to my Facebook page you can check out all the albums, as well as become a fan for updates. Since I was only doing a demo for the event, we weren’t in Tignes the whole time. Tignes is a pretty amazing place with a cool history. They have a hydroelectric dam that never went into use as well as a lake that was man made. Every ten years they drain the lake, and you can walk along the bottom of it! You should read up on the place, it’s pretty impressive.

Since everything is so close in Europe we also headed over to Geneva, Switzerland for the International Car Show. Mind blowing is the only way to describe the type of cars here. You never really see anything like this in the US, especially Montana! I left feeling poor, since I don’t own a million dollar supercar, but at the same time you can’t really drive a Duramax in Europe…so that made me feel better. There were cars made entirely of carbon fiber, and not just race cars!

25552_10150122650030541_668770540_11436301_5059103_n Even the displays they had to showcase the cars were pretty incredible. I’m not sure who designs them, or better yet has to assemble them, but most had nicer hardwood floors than my house, and more TV’s than a Best Buy. All in all it was a ridiculous day. I’ll leave you with one of my favorite pictures from the trip, me on the rainbow carpet.

Back to the US today, where I can look forward to some awesome jet lag!

Later

Heath
